Dealing with Stress

Stress, the giver of heart attacks, migraine headaches, depression,
rheumatoid arthritis, even cancer, can be controlled if we choose to.
Today’s life style has a way of putting us in the hot seat, but if we choose
to be in control of our lives and reduce the stress that caused major illnesses,
we can do so. Sometimes this is not as easy as it sounds, but it is possible.
You just have to choose, what ate the most important things in your life, and
then ask yourself…Why?
Everyone makes life-style decisions form minute to minute. To eat or not to
eat, to rush or not to rush, to accept one more responsibility in your already
busy schedule or not to accept. These are the day to day decisions that place
stress on our already stressful lives.
Here is a list of stress related symptoms, check and see if you are making
healthy choices, or are you among the millions of Americans that are dying of

6. Racing thoughts

8. Problems concentrating
9. Forgetfulness
10. Disorganization or confusion
11. Difficulty making decisions
12. Feeling overloaded or overwhelmed
13. Frequent crying
14. Loneliness
Sometimes issues cannot be modified or sidestepped. In such cases, we need to
recognize our limits. If a situation cannot be altered or avoided, we need to
accept it. Accepting often involves letting go and changing our expectations.
